Into Aquatic Plants? So are we!

Finatics are defined as; A person marked or motivated by an extreme, unreasoning enthusiasm, as for a cause. We feel that way about Tropical Fish keeping and the people who keep these amazing creatures.

Today we wanted to let you know that we stock a nice selection of Freshwater Aquatic Plants. We try and stock many species which are lower light tolerant and that do not require CO2 units. We also carry a nice selection of plant foods and additives.
Is there something you want to see us carry?- Let us know!

These are very nice Mellon Swords! They prefer strong light and would benefit from CO2, but as you can see they will thrive without it.

Our selection includes Cardimine (Small Leaf penny wort), Some fantastic large Jungle Val's and many Anabias including some nice Mother sized plants.

The Amazon Swords should be given CO2, as you can see they also require high light and benefit from the addition of a liquid plant food. There are also some interesting Anabias in this tank called Anabias Hostifolia, which grows an almost heart shaped leaf. Most of our plants are prepotted in our mix of potting soil and plant tabs. We also have a nice selection of Sagitteria, and several species of Cryptocryne including Parva and Wendtii- bronze. Also, our Java Ferns are very nice and a perfect plant to attach to wood or rock.

This is a nice Anabias on Mopani wood in one of our rainbow tanks.

This is a Java Fern on a piece of wood called Mango Root or Jeti Wood.

This Jeti wood piece has Anabias, Java Fern and some Java moss as well. Most of these pieces are about $24.99.
Large Java Ferns.

Our selection of Plant items. We stock the Seachem and API lines and are always willing and interested in expanding our products as well as our  plant understanding, so if you have suggestions, please let us know!
